Shivaji and his time (1630 to 1707)
C.O.1. Students will be aware of the geographical, socio-religious and economic conditions of the 17th century Maharashtra.
C.O.2. Students will understand the struggle between Shivaji's initial campaigns and Adilshahi and Mughal Satat.
C.O.3. Know about the coronation of Shivaji, the Karnataka campaign for Shivaji's and the administration of Shiva.
C.O.4. Students will know the freedom war of Chhatrapati Sambhaji and Maratha.
C.O.5. The students will be able to understand the period from 1600 to 1707 as rapid change in the history of Marathas. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj established the Maratha state and initiated fundamental changes in the political, socio-economic and cultural life of the state.
C.O.6. The students will be able to understand the political, socio-economic and religious life of the people during the period from 1600-1707. They will also get acquainted with the policy and contribution of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
